We had to make an unscheduled stop in Falmouth as an alarm was going off on the instrument panel of our Yanmar 3JH5E1X. Simon sent us wiring diagrams and offered advice about why the problem may have occurred and how to solve it. A wire for a ‘water in fuel sensor’, that isn’t installed in this particular model had got damaged and created a circuit which set off the alarm. Wire cut and insulation repaired we carried on our way. Many thanks for excellent and friendly service. We placed a large order online following magor engine part failure. Made a phone call the next day to check order had been received and spoke with Parts Manager John Harvey. As soon as I spoke with John I felt confident the order would be fulfilled efficiently. John has followed our order through 100%. Parts were delivered super quickly, communications were superb for bits on back order and changes we had to make along the way. John always called or emailed back when he said he would. It really is customer service at its best which is so sadly lacking nowadays with many other companies. The parts we have received have been top quality too and the few bits we over ordered (unopened obviously) are being refunded upon return. The propellers on our Sealine F43 were in need of attention so I contacted French marine. They had pulled us out of a spot before and it mentioned on their site they can offer quick turnaround for commercial. Simon agreed to take them in and see what he could do. He wasn’t optimistic at first, however after a 48 hour turnaround I couldn’t be more pleased or grateful for getting me out of a tight spot.
